Hurricane Victims receive JIVA POS terminal and services from Posiflex, Digital Dining and Rapid Retail Solutions
Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, were two of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the United States. Having seen these disasters Posiflex had deep sympathy for the Hurricane victims and wanted to do something about it.
Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, were two of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the United States. They caused unprecedented flooding and destruction along the Gulf Coast. Having seen these disasters Posiflex had deep sympathy for the Hurricane victims and wanted to do something about it. They asked ISV partner Digital Dining to help them find a Louisiana reseller who would help implement a plan to help victims.
In order to provide critical, immediate assistance to the affected small businesses, Posiflex, Digital Dining and Rapid Retail Solutions proactively donated JIVA 5815 point of sales terminals and services for three separate locations:
* Coffee Cottage - Coffee Cottage is located in Harahan, LA and was directly affected by Hurricane Katrina. Coffee Cottage was closed for several weeks after the storm and then operated for several months short-handed and with a limited menu. "With all the things that happened to us, Rapid Retail really helped bring the kind of assistance that mattered to us. We will be loyal to Digital Dining and Posiflex forever because they showed us that they truly cared."
* Frenchie - Frenchie's is located in Mamou, LA. Although not directly damaged by either Hurricane Katrina or Rita, Frenchie's supply chain and customer base were all affected drastically. There was complete disruption to the business, but no government or insurance agencies were able to help restore their business. "I could hardly believe it when Rapid Retail offered to help us. We have been devastated by the lost of revenue due to the Hurricane. Their help showed that they really are concerned about the well being of their clients and neighbors."
* Pujo Street - Located in downtown Lake Charles, LA, Pujo Street was directly hit by Hurricane Rita. There was significant damage to their building and to their existing POS system. "When we picked Digital Dining as our POS we knew we made a great selection. After Rita we realized what a great partner we picked in Rapid Retail. With the help of Posiflex, Rapid Retail keeps proving to us how much they care about us."
Rapid Retail Solutions provided implementation services for all three locations. "It has been very gratifying to be involved in an effort spearheaded by Posiflex to help Louisiana recover from the devastation of these natural disasters. It is impossible to put into words the disruption these storms have caused to local residents and businesses.
